Lisa Fund
Lisa Dubow, a founder of C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition, was 42 years old when she was diagnosed with stage III colorectal cancer which later recurred. She credited cutting edge research and clinical trials with helping her survive her diagnosis for nine years before her death on July 24, 2007.
In 2006, Lisa worked with C3 to create the “Lisa Fund”. The fund supports researchers who are dedicated to developing treatments for patients with late stage colorectal cancer.
Two years later, C3, working in conjunction with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), awarded the first Lisa Dubow Research Fellows Grant to Dr. Yaguang Xi, a researcher studying prognostic biomarkers in colorectal cancer at the University of South Alabama - Mitchell Cancer Institute.
Your donation to the Lisa Fund is an investment in colorectal cancer research. Help us assist other researchers looking for better treatments and a cure for colorectal cancer by making a donation to the Lisa Fund today.
