C3’s goal is to bring the most promising colon and rectal cancer research forward, faster.
We work with the gastrointestinal research community to identify emerging areas of study that should be explored. Once they are identified, C3 helps build bridges between basic scientists, clinical researchers and patient advocates.
The Lisa Fund is an example of how C3 is working to partner with leading researchers to pursue the most promising areas of scientific inquiry. Contributions to the Lisa Fund funded research grants in collaboration with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in 2008 and 2009 to young scientists studying colorectal cancer.
